UEE30411 Certificate III in Data and Voice Communications (Superseded as at 4/10/2020)

This course is for Electricians and existing advanced Telecommunications technicians  who wish to gain their ACMA Open Cabling licence and applicable cable endorsements. It will help expand their technical knowledge on data and voice systems, enterprise IP solutions and wireless networking capabilities, whilst building on the existing cabling knowledge and experience they already hold.

Course Details The successful completion of this qualification requires a combination of elective competency standard units to achieve a total weighting of 320 points

Pre-Requisites To view pre-requisite units, click here. Granting competency in the units listed shall be made only after competency in the unit(s) listed as a pre-requisite has/have been confirmed.
Enrolment Eligibility Ideally students will need to have completed a Certificate III in Electrotechnology or Certificate III in Telecommunications, with units aligned with WHS and Electrical skills and existing cabling experience in ELV.  Students who are colour-blind may not be appropriate for this qualification. All participants must meet suitability criteria prior to course enrolment.
Duration This course is delivered over a period of 13 months.
Delivery Modes AIVD offers tailored training, in a number of different formats being face to face, self paced, research, simulations, workplace practicals and supervised learning activities.
